14000 B.C.	During the ice age, feral cats, ancestors of Mokka, roam the jungles of Bukit Timah.
3445 B.C.	Invention of the air-conditioned shopping mall by Chinese traders.
1348 A.D.	Singapore - and with it Kampung Lasia - is occupied by the Malays.
1818 A.D.	Singapore is occupied by the British.
1942 A.D.	Singapore is occupied by the Japanese.
1964 A.D.	Singapore is occupied by the PAP.
1999 A.D.	After a failed attempt to lead Batam to independence as a kingdom, Frank moves his attention to Kampung Lasia.
1st Feb. 2001	Kampung Lasia declares independence. Finallys free from foreign domination!
Apr. 2001	Neighbouring Singapore's Senior Monarch declares he does not recognize Lasia's independence. A Lasian government spokesman reminds the public that the SM also objected to his own country's independence from Malaysia in 1964, and thus cannot be taken serious in such matters.
Aug. 2001	The young republic is rocked by vicious internal attacks spreading fear and mistrust among its citizens and driving some into exile. The leader of the extremist underground guerilla movement, a Spanish national related to a Belgian painter (or vice versa ...) was finally deported in Oct. 2001, but has since launched a number of terrorist attacks on Lasian interests abroad.
Nov. 2001	Microsoft notes the existence of the Independent Republic of Kampung Lasia, making it the first nation recognized by a multinational corporation rather than other countries. Citizens engage in a love-hate relationship with the company: Love when finding software cheaply in Johore, hate when trying to install or use it.
Jan. 2001	Thomas Stadler is awarded the Lasian Order of Merit (LOM) and becomes first ambassador in Liechtenstein.
9th Feb. 2002	During the independence day festivities, Frank marries First Lady Ho Pheng.
Apr. 2002	Lasia Labs, the republic's first high-tech venture, is launched.
May 2002	Kampung Lasia becomes founding member of ATRIN (Association of Tiny and Resource-free Independent Nations) and invites neighbouring Singapore to join. An application to join the United Nations remains unanswered.
Aug. 2002	Oil deposits are found on Lasian soil! Investigations show that the Duck Brand Finest Cooking Oil found in the kitchen is of high grade and fit for export. Traces of Olive Oil nearby raise hopes of a bright economic future.
Sept. 2002	Frank becomes the republic's first organ donor by giving an antique organ to First Lady Ho Pheng.
Oct. 2002	Water Issue with Singapore: Neighbouring Singapore threatens to cut off supplies of water (and electricity), which the republic depends on, unless a PUB bill is paid. Negotiations are ongoing. Lasian authorities caution its citizens not to frequent Singapore PUBs until the issue is settled.
Sept. 2003	Lasia occupied by foreign forces once again A shadowy force called "The Owner" invaded Lasia during a short time where all inhabitants (there were three of them) are out of the country, forcing the government to go into exile in Germany.
